As part of several initiatives in Hull, including ‘the Boom’ and ‘the Fruit Market’ at the Dry Dock, Chetwoods were appointed by developer client the Wykeland Group, to undertake a feasibility study into the site of the existing dock at the confluence of the river Hull and Humber close to the Deep.
A variety of uses alongside residential have been envisaged, including an enclosed aquarium extension potentially linked to the Deep itself.
A freshwater Deep equivalent scheme proposal is currently being reconsidered to further enhance the Deep’s reputation as ‘Visitor Attraction of the North’.
