Chetwoods secured a full planning consent for a high-rise residential retail development fronting the River Hull, to be linked to the city centre via a swinging bridge.
Won through competitive tender, the high-density scheme featured four towers of up to fifteen storeys with ground floors and connecting piazzas serving various retail and commercial activities.
Although consented and funded by English Partnerships, the scheme has yet to advance and is likely to be implemented as a considerably reduced content as the result of changes in both the residential and commercial markets since gaining planning.
