About

Laurie Chetwood

Laurie founded Chetwoods in 1988, and continues to lead the practice as Chairman and head of our United Studio. He has been pivotal in steering the practice to push the boundaries of architectural innovation, while remaining grounded in principles of sustainability, human-centric design, and the integration of art, architecture, and landscape in creating successful built environments. He advocates for a holistic approach that supports both ecological balance and human health, creating places and spaces that go beyond mere utility, fostering positive emotional responses and promoting wellbeing among users.
