On this project we worked for a leading global platform for centres of data exchange, interconnection, and co-location solutions.

Chetwoods was appointed as the shell architect. We produced an array of complex designs based on our client’s unique specification, working closely with the wider project team of engineers, structural engineers, project managers and cost consultants. The proposals were a range of modular designs that could respond to various site conditions across EMEA.

The strategic design process co-ordinated an optimised fit-out design with structural solutions and cold dark shell specification.

Efficiencies in construction were analysed and a programme was created to meet the expectations of planning authorities and streamline the planning process.

Sustainability solutions were considered throughout, especially with regard to net zero carbon and the best use for the output of heat.
