The area immediately outside the building suffered from anti-social behaviour and was not an inviting place to walk past or from which to enter the building. To combat this and inject a sense of vitality into the building, a new entrance screen and canopy were designed to provide a more attractive focus to the frontage, together with an enlarged, bright and contemporary reception space to welcome occupiers and visitors.

Beyond the reception flexible office space was provided over five floors.  Considered co-ordination of exposed services, with the larger ductwork housed in the bays of the existing frame, created the impression of increased height, with the location of the lighting de-cluttering the services zone.

Further facilities include communal spaces with formal meeting rooms, collaboration desks, refreshment points, and a spectacular roof terrace on the sixth floor, along with comprehensive welfare facilities such as cycle storage and showers that exceeded BCO guidance.
