GLP Magna Park Lutterworth
The development is home to twenty-nine different occupiers, occupying more than 8.3 million sqft of sustainable logistics floorspace in thirty-two buildings.
We developed the landscape-led masterplan in two phases over the course of twenty-seven years, and have subsequently been involved in the design and delivery of 70% of the distribution facilities on the park.
The core design principles responded to the site’s attributes and natural characteristics. The park’s environment is heavily landscaped, creating natural habitats for wildlife and demonstrating that nature and business can thrive alongside one another.
Every effort has been made to design buildings that are cheaper to operate and maintain, whilst preserving natural resources, reducing energy and water usage, and maximising the use of recycled and recyclable materials wherever possible.
Magna Park has been widely acclaimed for setting new standards in terms of design, environmental management, sustainability, occupier efficiency and local job creation. Its success has been emulated in several strategic locations around the world.
